Envirotainer welcomes Lufthansa Cargo as the latest airline to approve Releye® RLP for shipment of temperature-sensitive pharma

With the approval of Releye RLP, Lufthansa Cargo further extends its wide offering of active temperature control services for sensitive cargo. Releye RLP is the latest addition to Envirotainer’s fleet of active containers and sets a new standard for secure, temperature-controlled shipments. With its unsurpassed 170 hours of autonomy (more than one week) it will maintain the temperature and protect the cargo longer than any other available solution, without recharging.

“By adding the Releye RLP to our product & service offer we further enhance our Active Temp product range, which is one of the leading in the industry. The addition of the RLP underlines the closer partnership between both companies and their joint commitment to deliver excellence in air pharma transport,” says Thorsten Braun, Head of Sales Development, Lufthansa Cargo.

“Setting a new standard for temperature-controlled air cargo containers, the Releye® RLP is designed to meet the strictest requirements in pharmaceutical air freight. The integrated live monitoring enables a unique insight into product condition, location and progress of the shipment and sets a new standard for secure cold chain solutions”, says Don Harrison, Head of Global Key Accounts, Airlines at Envirotainer

Releye RLP introduces a new, unique container size, 3 Euro pallets (2 US pallets), enabling customers to maximize volume shipped by switching between the container sizes RKN, RAP, and the middle sized Releye RLP.

“We truly value our collaboration with Lufthansa Cargo to deliver sensitive pharmaceuticals around the world. With Releye RLP, Lufthansa Cargo can provide unsurpassed protection and security for temperature-sensitive cargo,” comments Eddy Cojulun, Chief Sales Officer, Envirotainer
