At Envirotainer we are constantly looking for ways to improve the services we provide for our customers across the world. We are happy to announce the launch of a new data service, called the Insight Report, that records crucial shipment data and delivers it within 48 hours after the shipment has been completed.
Today, an increasing number of pharmaceutical companies need to transport a larger volume of valuable products over longer distances than ever before. The impact of delaying a market introduction or the revenue loss of losing a shipment of a pharmaceutical can be astronomical. Even worse is that it may delay patients getting access to a life changing treatment. One area that is frequently brought up by pharmaceutical companies is the need for more transparency regarding shipment data. The most common request from all stakeholders relates to the need to get faster confirmation that there were no temperature deviations during the shipment.
The Insight Report combines all data gathered during the shipment and presents it in one comprehensive report. This new service presents data on ambient temperature, inside temperature, door openings and battery level. And it is available already 48 hours after the shipment has been completed. There are other additional benefits of having instant access to data from all shipments, such as the ability to increase the visibility of the cold chain and identify potential weak points so that all stakeholders can work proactively to mitigate temperature deviations.
“We believe that this is the first fully automated, globally available, shipment report service and we are certain that the speed of delivery will be appreciated by our customers. Within 48 hours of the container being returned to any Envirotainer Service Station in the world, customers can access the Insight Report via Envirotainer’s customer portal,” explains Magnus Backteman, Product and Solutions marketing manager at Envirotainer.
Envirotainer collects and saves data from all our shipments across the world. In the last year we’ve gathered data from more than 45,000 shipments. Our customers can access data from their respective shipments in our customer portal using any device, so it is always easily available, whenever they need it. The Insight Report is available for the Envirotainer RKN e1 and RAP e2 containers – active, self-regulating containers with compressor cooling and electrical heating.
The Insight Report will replace the Active Container Data (ACD) report which will be discontinued on October 1st, 2019.
