Mr. Fitsum Abady, MD Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, said, “We are very pleased to be the first African airline partnering with Envirotainer. This commercial partnership with Envirotainer significantly fuels our aim on providing superior protection and seamless connectivity through our sales networks - stretching across the five continents.”
Jörg Krings, Global Partner Manager at Envirotainer and responsible for the relationship with Ethiopian Airlines, expressed, “The on-ground training for how to handle our Envirotainer units went really well. It’s a key element to guarantee the correct process implementation.”
Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services is one of the seven business centers of Ethiopian Airlines with the recently inaugurated state-of–the-art cargo terminal II together with the existing terminal. It will provide a total tonnage capacity of around 1 million ton per annum, making it the largest in the continent of Africa.
