Envirotainer’s Board of Directors has decided to appoint David Simonsson, 50, as the new CEO of Envirotainer. David Simonsson’s appointment is effective in September 2023. His most recent position was as Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Nordics at ASSA ABLOY, which is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm's Large Cap. David Simonsson succeeds Peter Gisel-Ekdahl, who has successfully led Envirotainer since 2021 through several important milestones including a successful ownership change, further diversification of the business and continued strong growth.
